Oh goodness, you do this technique much better than I do. I'll have to keep practicing. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank YOU =) I think, time, patience and interaction between the clones is what baffles people. This technique can be easy or monsterously hard, sometime soon I'll figure out how to take it to the next level =P

Yes, my concepts have been pretty simple so far. What baffles me is when the clones appear to be touching or in contact with each other. I couldn't even imagine accomplishing that as of yet.
Oh my, the NEXT level? haha

Yeah I was thinking closer shots of interacting faces, intertwined hands etc, I don't want things to get dull =P

I admire your drive to push the limits. did you learn this photoshop technique somewhere? Or does it just take practice over time?

I can't say I learnt it, I'm no good with photoshop (and can't afford it either) I use the GNU image manipulation programme, and was pretty apt with that already when I had the idea for actually taking them, so I was just able to do it I guess. I'd never seen it done before I made mine, but I went for an interview at Coventry university with some of these photos in my portfolio and met a lecturer called Paul M Smith who got really bent out of shape because most of his work revolves around this and I neglected to mention him as an influence. Bit of an egomaniac really. I'll give him his due, some of it is really good, but he has got some rather distasteful work on his website also. After receiving my subsequent rejection (lol) and looking at some of his more vulgar work I was glad I got turned away because I'd never be able to look him strait in the eye again!

You got rejected from Coventry University because one of the photographers there thought you should have seen his work first?? XD That's ridiculous. Sounds like a real megalomaniac.
And after checking out his site just now, I see what you mean by vulgar. Ewwww. >.<

Hahaha you'll understand now why I wasn't overly disappointed by the rejection =P
